Payment

Each entrant is eligible for a payment of up to $400, with a minimum of $100 if the entry meets the minimum standards. The exact payment amount for each entrant will be based on the quality of the entrant’s work.

Description

Concurrent Storage is a new storage system in Core that allows player data to be written or read even if the player is offline or in another instance. It also allows data associated with the game to be shared across all server instances of the game.

Since there are so many different useful and interesting things that can be done with this new storage type, we are going to leave it up to you to decide what to design for this challenge. The goal of this challenge is to build something useful for creators that uses Concurrent Storage.

The offline and cross server capabilities of Concurrent Storage can be used to build many types of things such things as:

  • Collaborative Building
  • In Game Mail
  • Offline Notifications
  • Auction House
  • Player Trading
  • Asynchronous Gameplay
  • Counting Players In Other Scenes or Instances
  • Cross Server Chat
  • Or Your Own Great Idea!
