Payment
Each entrant is eligible for a payment of up to $300, with a minimum of $50 if the entry meets the minimum standards. The exact payment amount for each entrant will be based on the quality of the entrant’s work.
Description
Kitbashing refers to designing models using the pre-built assets in the Core editor. For this tutorial, we are looking for experienced kitbashers to share their knowledge and techniques for building awesome models in Core. The goal is to teach other creators to improve their modeling skills, so they can reach that next level of expertise.

Some topics to consider for the tutorial are listed below.
Concepts
How do you come up with ideas and concepts for your designs?
Planning
What things do you do prior to building? Do you use reference images or concept art as a guide?
Modeling Process & Strategy
Describe how you go about building great looking models in Core. How do you start, iterate, and polish the design?
Lighting
Explain how to add lighting, and what role it plays in the design.
Effects & Sounds
Describe the use of visual and sound effects in your design.
Animations
Detail how movement or animations can be added using scripts, such as the built-in movement components. This should be easy to understand for non-programmers.
Requirements

Publish a tutorial on this topic to the Core forums as per the instructions in your application acceptance message.

Provide any tutorial assets (models, scripts, UI, etc) in Community Content or an editable public game, and include a link within the tutorial.
Judging Criteria

- Your application acceptance message includes instructions on how to publish your tutorial.
- Entrants must publish their tutorial by the deadline listed in the challenge in order to be considered for payment.
- Failure to publish your tutorial on time may affect your eligibility for future challenges.
