Description
Reward Points (RP) are a new type of currency in Core that creators can grant to players in their game. For this Challenge, the goal is to create a system for creators that makes Reward Point activities, earned points, and progress more visible to the players in a game. That way players know exactly what they need to do and how much RP they can earn in a game, as well as view their progress.
Features
Information To Surface
Since each game offers RP in different ways, it is important for players to know such things as:
-
What activities does a player need to do to earn RP in this game.
-
How many RP can a player earn for each activity.
-
What is the progress of the player’s earned RP for the day in this game.
It is also important to show visual feedback when a player earns RP in a game:
-
Show how many points are gained when RP is earned.
-
Show the updated progress when RP is earned.
Ease Of Use
The system should be as easy as possible for creators to implement. It should be very simple for creators to use this to surface RP activities, progress, and rewards in their games.
Polished GUI
The GUI should look as polished and professional as possible. Study the UI in other games and note the design of such things as progress bars, buttons, fonts, text size and line height, white space, etc. Consider adding ways for creators to customize the UI.
