ADDITIONAL INFO:

Tanks

All tanks in Armored Force are based on real-life tanks. The tanks are divided into 4 tank tiers and 4 tank types: Light, Medium, Heavy, and Destroyer.

Armor system

All the tanks have armor on their body, turret, and tracks. Armor reduces the damage received by a certain percentage.

Body:

  • Front ‒ 60%
  • Sides ‒ 50%
  • Rear ‒ 10%

Turret:

  • Front ‒ 80%
  • Sides ‒ 50%
  • Rear ‒ 10%

Tracks ‒ 50%

Tank upgrades

All tanks can be upgraded in three ways: firepower, survivability & speed

  • Firepower: improves reload speed and damage per shot
  • Survivability: improves HP
  • Speed: improves turret rotation speed, cannon elevation speed, tank top speed, and tank turn speed

Tank damage states

In addition to dealing regular damage which decreases the enemy's health bar, you can also inflict 4 different damage states to tanks. The damage states can then be fixed by using consumables that are purchasable in the Garage or if the player doesn't use a consumable the state will get erased automatically after a short while.

State 1 - Tracked

If you hit a tank in its tracks (left or right) you have a small chance to inflict the tracked state. In this state, the tank's tracks get destroyed and it is unable to move for a short while. This state can be repaired by pressing '1' on the keyboard if the player has "Extra Treads" in their inventory.

State 2 - Set on fire

If you hit a tank in its rear you have a small chance to set the tank on fire. In this state, the tank is set in flames and it remains burning for a short while. During this time the tank gets inflicted damage over time. This state can be repaired by pressing '2' on the keyboard if the player has "Extra Treads" in their inventory.

State 3 - Barrel broken

If you hit a tank in its turret you have a small chance to break the enemy's barrel. In this state, the tank's barrel gets visibly broken and the player can't shoot for a short while. This state can be repaired by pressing '3' on the keyboard if the player has "Extra Treads" in their inventory.

State 3 - Turret speed reduced

If you hit a tank in its turret you have a small chance to inflict the "turret speed reduced" state which makes turning the turret of the tank slower for a while. This state can be repaired by pressing '3' on the keyboard if the player has "Extra Treads" in their inventory.

Ramming damage

In addition to dealing damage with the tank's turret, you can deal damage to another tank by ramming them with your own tank.

Game systems

The spotting system

If an enemy tank is spotted their nameplate and health bar turns visible and they can be seen on the minimap. To spot an enemy tank, the top of your turret needs to have a line of sight with the enemy's top of the turret. The enemy tank also needs to be within your view range (actual view range distance may change in the future). When this happens the tanks are spotted automatically.

The minimap and pinging system

image

The minimap which can be found in the bottom right corner showcases the whole battlefield. The map is divided into squares with numbers from 1‒8 and letters from A to H. Your tank is shown in orange, your teammates are in blue and the enemy is in red.

To ping a map location, hold down the ‘alt’‒key to make your cursors visible. Then just click on the square you want to ping. The pinged square is then displayed in the chat with a message “Attention to [X:Y]”

Maps and game modes

Frontline game mode

In Frontline your goal is to either capture the enemies’ territory or destroy all enemy tanks. If neither team succeeds in those when the match timer reaches zero the winning team is the one which has more tanks left. And if both teams have the same number of tanks left then the winning team is the one who was able to fill the territory capture bar more.

Maps

Shooting range

At the shooting range, you are free to learn the basics of the game and test out the different tanks in a safe environment.

Fields

The Fields map is an idyllic countryside map with windmills and wooden fences. The place has a battle-torn past however and remnants of it can still be seen in the form of old rusty sunken tanks and broken stone bridges.

Garage

Main view

In the main view, you can see your own equipped tank. You can rotate around the tank by holding down MOUSE2 and moving the cursor. You can also equip different tanks from the bottom bar and see your equipped tanks stats on the left side of the screen.

Tech Tree

In the tech tree, you can upgrade and unlock tanks. The tech tree is divided between Axis and Allies, each of them having their separate tech tree.

Premium shop

From the premium shop, you are able to purchase Silver, Gold, and Universal Parts with Core Credits as well as purchase premium tanks and convert Tank Parts to Universal Parts.

Camos & Sprays

From the camos and sprays tab, you can buy different paint jobs for your tanks. Make it pop or have it blend in the environment. It is all up to you!

Achievements

Under achievements, you can find Daily Challenges that upon completing reward Universal Parts, Silver and Gold. Achievements can also be unlocked here.

Leaderboards

From the leaderboards you can see match specific stats “Tanks Destroyed” and “Damage Dealt” and also total stats “Tanks Destroyed” and “Damage Dealt”.
