Finite State Machine AI System

I am curious if a Finite State Machine AI system is in the works for simple prototyping of enemies that, for example, blindly chase the player. This can be used to create PVE gamemodes involving simple zombies or single player experiences.

I think it is currently very possible to make using the Lua scripting system currently enabled but I do wonder if there's plans for a more robust and user friendly approach .
